Mahavishnu Re Defined

I am very excited to be a part of ESC Records latest project; Mahavishnu Re-Defined Vol. 2.

The first compilation featured Billy Cobham, Vinnie Colaiuta, Dennis Chambers, Dave Fiuczynski, and Nguyen Le among others.

Tyger MacNeal and David Livolsi joined me to record my arrangement of “Miles Beyond.” 

Steve Vai and David Torn are just a couple of artists to appear on the box set.
 

 The album Only Human has caught the attention of several national and international awards.


The guy has been nominated for the second year in a row, for Instrumental Artist of the Year, by Los Angeles Music Awards .

at the Mid-Atlantic Song Contest . 



The US Department of State awarded the Chris Schreiner Project (Jens Kuross and Will McEvoy) for Bridging the Cultural Gap to Nepal in 2008 at the Himalayan Blues Festival.



An Interlude In Bléu has won Best Instrumental from
The Muse’s Muse Editors Choice Award (Los Angeles)


The guy was a finalist for the Urban Music Awards “America’s Next Urban Superstar.” The ceremony was held at the Hammerstein Ballroom.



 

 

 

Only Human is the 8 track debut release of Christopher Schreiner A.K.A. the guy. The compositions appeal to guitarists on account of the nuance, tone, and technique, the non-musician listener will appreciate the interesting arrangements, groove and overall mood of the pieces.

Guitar Player Magazine's 2008 Guitar Superstar Competition

I have been selected as one of ten competitors, we will be performing at the Great American Music Hall in San Francisco. I am very exicted to have been chosen and the competition will coincide with the release of my new album "Only Human."
