The album Only Human has caught the attention of several national and international awards. The guy has been nominated for the second year in a row, for Instrumental Artist of the Year, by Los Angeles Music Awards . Icarus won Best Instrumental at the 2009 Malibu Music Awards . Icarus and Zebra Club have been awarded Honorable Mention at the Mid-Atlantic Song Contest .  The US Department of State awarded the Chris Schreiner Project (Jens Kuross and Will McEvoy) for Bridging the Cultural Gap to Nepal in 2008 at the Himalayan Blues Festival. An Interlude In Bléu has won Best Instrumental from The Muse’s Muse Editors Choice Award (Los Angeles) The guy was a finalist for the Urban Music Awards “America’s Next Urban Superstar.” The ceremony was held at the Hammerstein Ballroom.
