I use a Bogner Shiva  with El 84 tubes.  As for the missing "ner," I woke up the morning after my 21st birthday and it was broken.  This amp is simple and it does exactly what I need it to do.  Most "boutique" amplifiers are laden with superfluous features and switches.  The Shiva has a bright clean sound, a very usable lead channel (which works very well with overdrive pedals), as well as, the best sounding reverb I have ever heard in any amp.  I run the head through a Furman Power Factor Pro.  The nuances of ones touch are more apparent when using the Power Factor.  In addition to adding appreciably more sustain, the Furman unit eliminates excessive noise.

In the studio we have been using a Mesa Boogie Rectifier 2x12 cabinet with Celestion vintage 30's.  The microphone configuration is an Audex (close) and an Neuman (ambient).
